Palo Alto junior Eli Givens won three gold medals at the CIF Central Coast Section finals, taking the long jump with a leap of 22-5 1/2, the 100-meter dash in 10.91 and the 200 in 21.54, in addition to running on a sixth-place 4 x 400 relay that clocked 3:25.07 at San Jose City College.
