Menlo CA captured its third consecutive West Bay Athletic League girls varsity title with a 34-60 victory over Castilleja CA, clocking 93:39 for its second-fastest performance on the 2.95-mile Crystal Springs Course in Belmont, Calif. Kyra Pretre took second in 18:08.9, Marisa Castagna secured sixth in 18:49.8, Cameron Boom was seventh in 18:51.7, Alexandra McCusker placed ninth in 18:52.7 and Amanda Foster finished 10th in 18:56.5 for Menlo, which had Katie Aufricht in 11th in 19:25.1 and Sophia Gallo in 14th in 20:25.8. Menlo just missed lowering its program record 93:22 at Crystal Springs, despite competing without senior Charlotte Tomkinson, who is sidelined with a right foot injury.
