Menlo School senior Kyra Pretre placed 13th in the CIF Division 4 girls state final, covering the 5-kilometer course in 18:27.2 at Woodward Park in Fresno. Pretre, who improved from 27th place last season in 19:07.5, helped Menlo achieve its first podium finish in program history, securing second with 121 points.
